Founded by Puerto Rican ballet artist and director Roberto Vega Ortiz (he/they), ENBY Studios is shaped by his decade-long career, which has taken him dancing across the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, as well as his commitment to queer-centered storytelling and inclusive movement. Based in Chicago, Roberto’s training in the Puerto Rican, Cuban, and American schools informs a grounded, contemporary approach to ballet that honors lineage while making space for new voices today.
